Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a Product Management Intern for the Salt Lake City area (hybrid). You’ll work with a Product Manager and analytics team on real product problems for dashboards that guide religious education globally.

You will own an end-to-end project from discovery to launch, interacting with users, defining success metrics, writing requirements, and testing enhancements that improve how leaders use data.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in school or enrolled within the past 12 months.
• Studying Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical users.
• Strong organization and follow-through when managing multiple requests and deadlines.
• Curiosity about data and comfort learning new tools quickly.
• A service-oriented approach to supporting users.

Responsibilities

• Create training materials, user guides, onboarding resources, and release communications.
• Support training sessions, product demonstrations, and office hours.
• Help field users understand reports, navigate new features, and interpret metrics.
• Interview users and gather feedback to understand needs and pain points.
• Write clear business requirements and user stories from what you learn.
• Track enhancement requests, reported issues, and frequently asked questions.
• Help manage and prioritize the backlog and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Test new features and help prepare releases for launch.
• Monitor product adoption, define success metrics, and recommend ways to improve engagement.
• Use AI tools such as Copilot daily to draft documentation and analyze trends.
• Explore AI features in Power BI and evaluate their usefulness for field users.
• Prototype AI-assisted experiences, such as a support assistant for common report questions.
