Job description

InMotion Hosting is looking for a technically inclined Product Line Manager to oversee the lifecycle of assigned product lines within the web hosting portfolio. The Product Line Manager will ensure that product strategies align with business objectives, customer needs, and market trends. This role will collaborate with Marketing, Development, Engineering, and other teams to enhance product offerings, drive profitability, and deliver high-value solutions to customers.

What You’ll Do:

1. Develop and implement product strategies and roadmaps for assigned product lines ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
2. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback gathering to inform product decisions.
3. Track and manage product performance, including ROI, unit economics, and overall cost assessments.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute product launches, updates, and enhancements.
5. Assess risks associated with product development and deployment and develop mitigation strategies.
6. Support business planning initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term product strategy.
7. Identify opportunities for product innovation, efficiency, and growth within the web hosting market.

What We’re Looking For:

1. 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in the web hosting, IT, or software industry.
2. Demonstrated experience with business planning and strategy as it relates to product line management and development.
3. Experience with web hosting technologies, WordPress and other open source content management systems.
4. Strong knowledge of server architecture and hardware.
5. Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and go-to-market strategies.
6. Experience managing multiple product lines and projects simultaneously while analyzing complex data to make strategic decisions.
7. Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
8. Ability to think strategically and execute tactically while building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally.
