Product Line Manager - Compatible Standards
Your tasks

Position Summary:

The Product Line Manager (PLM) within the Business Assurance Division, Americas, is a key partner responsible for the product line strategy and driving growth. The PLM oversees strategic product portfolio planning, coordination, definition, and control measures for their assigned product line. They collaborate with Sales and Marketing departments and share responsibility for business growth. Additionally, they provide direction, oversee, and support the audit team within the portfolio, including onboarding and training activities.

The PLM works closely with stakeholders such as the Operations Manager America, Sales, and Certification Office.

Responsibilities:
  • Auditing: Achieve 50% auditing utilization target.
  • Management of Audit Team: Support technical resourcing, onboarding, sourcing auditors, maintaining auditor appointments, monitor audit activities, auditor performance, and provide technical training. Enhance knowledge management systems with the training team and certification office.
  • Product Management: Identify market potential and customer needs, develop and implement product portfolio strategies aligned with global and corporate strategies, manage assigned products ensuring compliance, coordinate sales and marketing measures, represent TUV SUD in professional associations, and support product revisions and scaling.
Your qualifications

Education: 3rd-party Lead Auditor qualification is required. Bachelor's degree in Technical or Business field or equivalent experience.

Experience: At least 5 years conducting management system certification audits, including complex multi-site audits; 3 years managing direct reports; experience managing similar product lines or technical sales is a plus; experience with technical review and training is advantageous.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Expert knowledge of audit principles, management system standards, certification processes, and industry knowledge. Strong communication, presentation skills, proficiency with communication technology, and high work ethics. Team-oriented.
