Job summary

Corning is seeking a Product Line Manager for DUV & Optical Materials in Corning, NY. The role owns strategy, lifecycle, and business performance of DUV glass products within Semiconductor Materials, Advanced Optics, and collaborates on broader portfolio strategy.

You will translate market needs into differentiated offerings, lead cross-functional teams, and drive profitable growth through roadmaps and value propositions. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, materials science, or a related field required.
• Advanced degrees in engineering, physics, materials science, or business administration preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in product-line management or related roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering strategic plans.
• Strong commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across functions without direct authority.
• Clear communication and presentation skills for technical and commercial audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead product-line strategy and annual planning for DUV glass products.
• Define and execute product, price, placement, and promotion strategies.
• Assess market trends, customer roadmaps, and competitive activity.
• Develop value propositions and roadmaps for DUV products and applications.
• Collaborate with Sales on pricing, forecasting, and quotations.
• Manage portfolio actions including product evolution and obsolescence.
• Develop and maintain product-line IP and standards strategies.
