Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company seeking a Chief of Staff to the SVP of Product to scale an innovative product leadership function. The role anchors on strategic narratives, organizational health, and cross-functional execution across product, engineering, design, analytics, and finance.

You will design rhythms for leadership, co-manage hiring and talent processes, and drive AI-enabled process improvements while shaping external product narratives and executive communications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in roles with product credibility and strategic-narrative chops.
• Experience running people processes at scale in fast-growing organizations.
• Exceptional written communication and ability to draft board-ready pages.
• Ability to spot organizational dysfunction and leadership gaps early.

Responsibilities

• Design and run the product leadership team rhythms.
• Co-own the people rhythms with HRBP across hiring, calibrations and talent reviews.
• Partner with Technology Operations to define roadmaps, prioritization and OKRs.
• Own headcount planning and budget management with Finance and HRBP.
• Drive AI retooling and enablement across the function.
• Curate the external product narrative and act as a speechwriter for leadership.
• Prepare executive briefings and reduce decision latency across Product leadership.
• Run a recurring org health pulse and escalate early signals before issues grow.
