Job summary

Stepful in New York City is seeking a seasoned Product Manager for Student Experience to own end-to-end student journeys from onboarding through graduation, certification and placement. You will rethink how we deliver outcomes and design experiences that help more learners finish and get hired.

You will collaborate with the Student Experience team, including coaches, instructors and career services, as well as design, engineering, data and marketing, in a hybrid NYC office (three days in person).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience in consumer-facing products.
• Proven success improving engagement and retention for a large user base.
• Strong fundamentals: discovery, experiments, prioritization, and roadmapping.
• Obsessed with users and able to turn qualitative insights into decisions.
• Experience working with SQL to generate insights.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmap for the end-to-end student experience for D2C and B2B2C.
• Challenge assumptions and propose evidence-backed improvements to completion, certification and job outcomes.
• Collaborate with Student Experience, design, eng, data and marketing to decide what to solve with product, process, or people.
• Talk to students through interviews and usability sessions to ensure real needs shape development.
• Run disciplined experimentation with A/B tests and rapid prototypes.
• Ship mobile-friendly experiences for learners studying on the go.
• Use AI and automation to deliver personalized support at scale.
