Job summary

NorthStar, a division of Harris, seeks a Director of Product to lead the Product organization within R&D. You will report to the VP of R&D and guide a team across multiple portfolios, driving consistent product judgment and measurable outcomes.

This is a remote role with travel ~20%, preference for EST timezone. Expect to own intake, discovery, prioritization, roadmap, and governance, and to cultivate ownership, curiosity, and customer focus across the team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Product Management and 5+ years leading Product teams.
• Track record of shipping products customers value.
• Experience building or maturing a Product operating model in a scaling org.
• Strong product instincts and judgment.
• Executive communication and influence without authority.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery, validate problems before engineering, define success metrics, measure value after release.
• Set the standard for well-reasoned product decisions within NorthStar.
• Design and implement intake, discovery, prioritization, roadmap and governance processes.
• Coach five product professionals into strategic product leaders and establish clear accountability.
• Partner with Engineering, Services, Sales, Support, and exec leadership to improve forecast and clarity.
