Job summary

NorthStar, a division of Harris, seeks a Director of Product to lead the Product organization within R&D, reporting to the VP of R&D and guiding five professionals across CIS7, Customer portal, and a mobile workforce system.

You will build and mature a Product operating model, raise product judgment, and measure outcomes with the aim of consistency and speed. Extensive AI-enabled product thinking and cross-functional leadership are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Product Management, including 5+ leading Product teams.
• Experience building or maturing a Product operating model in a scaling organization.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery, validate problems before we commit engineering, define success metrics up front, and measure realized value after release.
• Set the standard for what a well-reasoned product decision looks like at NorthStar.
• Design and implement the intake, discovery, prioritization, roadmap, and governance processes the team runs on.
• Coach five product professionals into strategic product leaders and establish clear roles and accountability.
• Partner with Engineering, Professional Services, Sales, Support, and executive leadership to improve forecast accuracy.
