Job summary
L2x Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Manufacturing New Product Launch leader in Illinois to drive launches, change management, and process improvements. You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production to ensure on-time launches and optimal performance.
You will mentor staff, define quality plans, and lead cost and capacity analyses while maintaining safety and compliance across multiple projects.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in manufacturing engineering with supervisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of part print specifications and requirements.
- Machining expertise in milling and turning processes.
- Lean manufacturing principles and structured problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Lead New Project Launch Engineering to meet demand and margin goals.
- Oversee launches, spec changes, and process changes.
- Define capital equipment needs; prepare investment budgets and payback analyses.
- Prepare and manage implementation plans for new part projects.
- Review and approve manufacturing work instructions and ERP routings.
- Conduct time studies and labor analyses to boost productivity.
- Define quality plans with Engineering and Quality teams.
- Mentor and coach New Product Launch Engineers and Technicians.
- Drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing.
