Job summary

PennEngineering is offering a 2026 internship in Danboro, PA for motivated students pursuing STEM degrees. You will gain hands-on experience in manufacturing and research facilities and collaborate with engineers on real projects, with mentorship from company leaders.

During a roughly 12-week program, you will assist with the PreMask and Houdini projects, perform lab characterization, data analysis, and prepare materials for internal know-how transfer across locations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemistry.
• Some experience with lab characterization techniques and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Danboro facility on the PreMask program, documenting cure curves and material properties.
• Evaluate alternative raw material suppliers to diversify sourcing.
• Fabricate and sample parts for the launch program for customer testing.
• Provide DOE assistance to the Galway facility on the Houdini program.
