Job summary

American Trim is seeking a technically skilled project leader to drive multiple engineering initiatives from planning through launch. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, timelines, and risks, and lead APQP and Gate Reviews to ensure customer expectations are met.

The role emphasizes process improvement, collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, and developing team members to deliver successful product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of APQP and gate-review processes is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering projects from kickoff through completion.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
• Communicate status, milestones, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
• Manage timelines, resources, and budgets to support successful execution.
• Lead APQP and Gate Review activities to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and other departments.
• Supervise and develop assigned team members, including hiring and coaching.
