Job summary

American Trim, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to manage APQP programs and drive NPL launches from award to production at the Sidney Operation. You will initiate APQP Projects after a Business Award, coordinate cost modeling, and handle tooling/part releases and PO load into ERP.

Lead post-award scope revisions with project leadership and finance teams. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 3 years of progressive experience in metal stamping/painting, and familiarity with ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or better in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with progressive responsibility, preferably in metal stamping and metal painting.
• Experience with Manufacturing Costing and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage initiation of new APQP Projects and all related systems upon formal new business award.
• Coordinate and communicate to transition Quoting / Development data to NPL Project Leader.
• Capably lead multiple smaller APQP Type B new program launches for the Sidney Operation.
• Learn process costing and support cost modeling activities.
• Perform other job related duties as assigned.
