Job summary

Abacus is looking to hire a Product Integrity Lead in the Northeast, MD area to oversee the quality assurance of garment construction. This role ensures all garments meet company standards and maintains high quality throughout the inspection process.

The position requires experience in garment inspection, the ability to measure garments in inches, and proven leadership with strong communication skills to coordinate with production teams and ensure adherence to QC procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in garment/sewing inspection.
• Ability to measure and inspect high-end garments in inches.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor inspection team.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards for garment production.
• Spec garments to confirm they achieve the target measurement.
• Conduct a Quality Control inspection 2.5 – 1.5 AQL for each purchase order (ASN).
• Work with the team daily to call out production issues.
• Notify production Manager/Supervisor if any production is not meeting quality expectations.
• ASN AQL inspection reports.
• Communicate team any production rejections.
• Communicate inspection team how to inspect and how to proceed with the 100% inspections.

The Garment Product Integrity Lead is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance of the specifications of garment construction. This role ensures that all garments meet company standards and specifications, maintaining high levels of quality throughout the inspection process.

Qualifications

Previous experiences in garment/sewing inspection. Must know how to measure and inspect high-end garments. Must know how to measure in inches.

• Responsible for implementing and monitoring inspection team.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards for garment production.

• Ability/willingness to learn new skills/processes and improve current skill.

Requirements

• Experience in textile factories or weaving companies.
• Strong knowledge of garment production processes and quality standards.
