Purpose of the Job

Responsible for leading the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of logistics products and services—spanning contract logistics, fulfillment, and distribution. This role bridges the gap between commercial goals, operational capabilities, and technology, ensuring the logistics offering is competitive, scalable, and aligned with customer needs.

This is a strategic and cross-functional leadership role, requiring a deep understanding of logistics operations, market trends, digital platforms, and customer experience.

Product Strategy & Development:
  • Define and own the end-to-end logistics product roadmap—covering pricing and operation
  • Develop new Logistics solutions based on market needs and customer feedback.
  • Monitor logistics market trends to ensure the product remains competitive and differentiated.
  • Drive a culture of compliance, safety, and continuous improvement
Go-to-Market & Commercial Support:
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and value propositions.
  • Support sales teams with product training, materials, and pricing strategy.
  • Lead pilot programs and rollouts for new logistics solutions.
Customer Experience & Digital Enablement:
  • Work with technology teams to enhance digital logistics tools, including WMS, real-time tracking, quotes, and documentation.
  • Define and improve the customer journey for logistics services across touchpoints.
  • Gather and analyze customer’s feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
  • Ensure operational feasibility and service quality for all logistics offerings.
  • Oversee product performance metrics and drive improvements in revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction.
P&L and Performance Ownership:
  • Own the commercial performance of the logistics product portfolio.
  • Ensure assets are fully optimized
  • Optimize pricing models, carrier partnerships, and service design to maximize profitability and market share.
Leadership:
  • Lead cross-functional teams across Operations, Sales, Technology, Finance, and Customer Success.
  • Lead through influence, ensuring alignment of stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for all logistics products within North America.
  • Mentor and develop talent within the logistics organization.
  • Champion change management initiatives associated with new products, processes, systems, and operational enhancements.
Industrial Projects
  • Develop and own the Industrial Projects (Project Logistics) product strategy across North America.
  • Identify growth opportunities within key sectors including Energy, Oil & Gas, Renewables, Mining, Infrastructure, Construction, and Manufacturing.
  • Support commercial teams in developing tailored industrial project logistics solutions, pricing models, and customer proposals.
  • Monitor market trends, major capital projects, and industry developments to position the organization as a preferred logistics partner for industrial project customers.
  • Establish performance metrics, revenue targets, and profitability objectives for the Industrial Projects portfolio.

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent leadership experience preferred.
  • 8–12+ years in logistics or supply chain, with leadership roles across product and operations
  • Experience launching new logistics products and opening operations in new regions or countries.
  • Deep understanding of logistics supply chains, customs processes, and global trade regulations
  • Strategic thinking with strong business acumen.
  • Deep product management knowledge, ideally in logistics, contract logistics, or supply chain logistics.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
