Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst III to support the Product organization. You will forecast, budget, and analyze variance for Product Management and Product Engineering, partnering with leadership to shape investments and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA/CPA preferred.
• 4–6 years of progressive FP&A experience in a technology-driven environment.
• Strong financial modeling and forecasting capabilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning activities for Product Management and Engineering teams.
• Perform detailed variance analysis, communicating results to Finance and Product leaders.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering leadership to provide financial insights for product investments and roadmaps.
• Support financial evaluation of business cases for R&D portfolio expansion and other engineering initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and maintain accuracy in reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements for Finance operations.
• Support headcount planning, CapEx and OpEx analysis, PO management, and project-level P&L tracking for product and engineering functions.
