Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Senior Manager to elevate its FP&A function, shifting to data-driven reporting for the global sales organization. You will own revenue forecasting, headcount planning, and commission modeling, partnering with Sales, HR, and Accounting to ensure accurate monthly close and insightful business guidance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Sales Finance in a global tech/cybersecurity company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.
• Deep cybersecurity industry knowledge, especially channel-driven sales models.
• Solid understanding of bookings, billings, and recognized revenue in a Hardware+Services model.
• Expert-level Excel; experience with ERP (Oracle/SAP) and EPM/Hyperion/Anaplan; Tableau.
• SQL or similar data tools; use of AI tools to streamline workflows is a plus.
• Strong cross-functional influence and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and quarterly financial reporting for the global sales organization, with actuals vs forecast and contribution margin reporting.
• Model commission structures and variable compensation, including deferred commissions and quota impact.
• Drive headcount planning cycles with Sales, HR; monitor hiring pacing and OpEx.
• Integrate analytics, dashboards, and AI tools to automate variance commentary and improve projections.
