Baseten is seeking a highly analytical, strategically minded Finance professional to own the end-to-end economics of Training as a new product line. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and GTM leadership to shape pricing, margins, and capacity decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic finance at a high-growth company, PE/VC investing and/or investment banking.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including building unit economics or cost-to-serve models.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain cost-to-serve models for Training engagements across compute, delivery time and capacity.
• Own Training pricing and recommend structures across committed engagements, usage-based pricing and packaged offerings.
• Track training capacity utilisation and tie capacity plans to pipeline.
• Run the monthly Training business review across bookings, utilisation, margin, pipeline and renewal and expansion trends.
• Own the Training forecast and annual plan, including compute needs, unit costs and multi-year P&L.
• Partner with Product on new products from concept onward, building pre-launch business cases, cost-to-serve views and go/no-go recommendations.
• Set launch pricing and packaging for new products.
• Define success metrics and scale criteria at launch.
