Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Product Management Excellence Leader for its Precision Technologies business to design the PM/NPD operating model, coach talent, build capability, and scale product management excellence across the organization.

You will partner with engineering centers, regional teams, and the IRETC, drive Stage-Gate processes, apply VOC and AIM frameworks, lead product rationalization, and own cybersecurity review practices to ensure secure, market-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 3 years leading teams and building PM capability through structured mentorship.
• Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks, product discovery techniques, and metrics-driven execution.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Exceptional communication and executive presence to champion organizational change.
• Strong project/program management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Own VOC process and drive trainings; build a centralized customer insight database.
• Lead Stage-Gate process and ensure on-time deliverables; enforce standard work for business case reviews.
• Coordinate engineering priorities across regions and with IRETC; manage ~50 engineers in matrix setup.
• Identify IP opportunities and drive product rationalization to simplify the portfolio.
• Establish cybersecurity review criteria and work with IT security to mitigate risks.
