Job summary

AMD seeks a leadership-minded engineer to head a team of 4-7 product engineers focused on AMD Server products. You will guide characterization, pre-silicon tests, and design verification across PVT corners, ensuring delivery meets business requirements and post-silicon issues are resolved efficiently.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration with Fab, Platform Validation and Software teams, optimize test points, and champion quality and yield improvements while mentoring team members’

Qualifications

• Lead a team of 4-7 product engineers responsible for product engineering on an AMD Server product.
• Develop characterization and test coverage strategies and establish pre-silicon pattern requirements.
• BS/MS in Computer or Electrical Engineering; strong leadership and communication skills.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop characterization and test coverage strategies.
• Establish pre-silicon pattern requirements and drive Design Verification deliveries.
• Execute defined characterization and test plans on new silicon.
• Drive yield and quality improvements across wafer sort, final test, and SLT.
• Drive product performance optimization across Product Engineering, Fab, Platform Validation and SW Engineering.
