Qualifications

• Completed minimum 24 hours of coursework or sophomore class standing.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
• Preference for on-site, part-time availability during the school year.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine engineering assignments using SOPs and established processes.
• Develop independence to work with less supervision over time.
• Apply engineering procedures and basic calculations to develop solutions requiring minor innovation.
• Gather and evaluate engineering data with guidance from senior engineers.
• Interact professionally with Altec personnel and customer representatives to complete projects.
• Develop the skills necessary to become an engineer.
