Genuine Parts Company (GPC) invites interns to a 10-week Product Engineering program in Atlanta, running May 24 – July 30, 2027. You will build a product compliance program for NAPA-branded products and support other Engineering initiatives, learning through a cohort experience with peers across the organization.

Responsibilities include creating a project timeline, defining product scopes and SKUs, designing DVP&Rs, and rolling out with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• Currently a rising junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management or related field.
• Exposure to business processes, project management, quality principles, process flow maps.
• Positive mindset and can-do attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain a project timeline and present weekly updates to the Engineering team.
• Define scope of product types and SKUs to include in the program.
• Create DVP&Rs (test plans) for in-scope product types.
• Develop a penalty structure in line with other compliance programs.
• Roll out internally with support from cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop a supplier roll out plan.
• Shadow team members on day-to-day activities to learn Engineering functions.
• Support other Engineering initiatives such as RFPs, product tear downs and benchmarking.
