Job summary

Pure in Los Angeles is seeking a Product Engineer to own critical parts of our Vault Platform, from vault accounts to operations tooling. You’ll help decide what to build, make technical decisions, and own performance after launch.

You’ll work with operations, customer support, compliance, and partners to translate needs into working software, using TypeScript, React, and Next.js to deliver robust APIs and workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building software products
• Experience owning a product area end-to-end
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Built backend APIs or services with Node.js or similar stack using PostgreSQL

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of products from idea through development, launch and ongoing improvements.
• Build customer-facing tools for vault accounts, asset management, shipments, and transfers using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Design and maintain backend systems for asset intake, verification, inventory, storage, and shipping.
• Ensure asset ownership records, custody history, and movement are accurate and auditable.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to improve asset receipt, authentication, storage, and fulfillment.
• Build and maintain APIs, webhooks, and integrations used by marketplaces, banks, and partners.
• Identify gaps in internal tools with Customer Support and Operations, delivering improvements.
• Work with Compliance and Risk to implement identity verification, permissions, and custody controls.
• Use customer feedback and operational data to set priorities and measure impact.
• Make technical decisions across the stack and own reliability and delivery.
