Assistance Technique Internationale (ATI) is seeking a Product Engineer in Richburg, NC for our Specialty Materials unit. You will manage the relationship and processes between customers, sales, process engineering, and operations, delivering products end-to-end with a continuous improvement mindset.

You will review customer specs, develop recipes and quality documents, and drive root-cause analyses for deviations while supporting certifications and testing of Titanium and Specialty Steels.

Competenze

• BS in materials science, mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with metallurgy, especially Titanium or Specialty Steels, is a plus.

Mansioni

• Review customer specifications and support sales by approving quotes.
• Create and implement items, recipes, mill instructions and quality documents.
• Review deviations and root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Support certifications and testing of Titanium and Specialty Steel orders.
• Be the metallurgical expert for Titanium and Specialty Steel processes.
• Lead continuous improvement programs across Value Streams.
• Propose concepts for new products, cost savings, and process innovation.
• Provide technical support to sales, planning, operations and quality.
• Present results in reports and oral presentations.
• Maintain knowledge of Titanium and Specialty Steel metallurgy.
