ATI is seeking a Product Engineer for its Specialty Materials unit, based in Richburg, NC. You will manage the interface between customers, sales, process engineering, and operations throughout the full product lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with quality requirements.

You will review specifications, create process documents, investigate deviations, support certifications, and contribute to continuous improvement programs across value streams. Some travel is expected.

Qualifikationen

• BS in materials science, mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Experience or coursework related to Nickel, Titanium and Specialty Steels.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and interact with customers.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks with a data-driven approach.

Aufgaben

• Manage relationships and processes between external customers, sales, process engineering and operations.
• Review customer specifications and support sales by approving quotes.
• Create and implement items, recipes, mill instructions and other quality system documents for Titanium and Specialty products.
• Review deviations and non-conformances and determine root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Provide technical support to sales, planning, operations and quality; communicate results in reports and presentations.
