Job summary

Assistance Technique Internationale (ATI) is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead and optimize hot working processes for manufacturing Nickel, Titanium, and Specialty Steel products. You will advance metallurgical knowledge, support new products, and improve process efficiency, quality, and safety.

You will guide cross-functional teams, resolve scrap issues, and apply modeling to drive data-driven improvements on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in metals processing and structure-property relationships.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to shop floor personnel.

Responsibilities

• Technical lead for post-melt processes including open die press forging, radial forging, and hot rolling of Nickel, Titanium, and Specialty Steel alloys.
• Develop and maintain metallurgical and operational expertise in processing of Nickel, Titanium, and Specialty Steel alloys.
• Lead and support cross-functional programs to improve process yield, cost, and cycle time.
• Resolve process-related non-conformances and reduce scrap.
• Apply thermal/deformation modeling to evaluate and improve products and processes.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality to improve manufacturing standards and safety.
