Job summary

Advantest America Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer to own the full lifecycle of DH products, from customer engagement to deployment, validation, and post-sales support. The role requires strong hardware/software aptitude and coordination across global teams.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, travel domestically and internationally to support customers, and work with cross-functional groups to drive product development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with demonstrated skill in product engineering, equipment development, or related technical roles.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and account teams to capture, document, and communicate product handling requirements to R&D. Convert customer requirements and schedules into development plans.
• Create and maintain customer relationships to encourage closer collaboration, gather meaningful feedback and identify potential business opportunities
• Develop and maintain specifications for DH platforms and product families.
• Support product design, prototyping, validation, and DFMA activities. Evaluate prototypes, drive design improvements, and enhance product reliability and safety.
• Lead failure analysis investigations, publish findings, and implement corrective actions.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, and lead customer-driven continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and develop innovative product concepts and support commercialization with R&D.
