Job summary

Advantest is seeking a Product Engineer to own the full lifecycle of DH hardware, from customer requirements through development, deployment, validation, and post-sales support.

The role requires strong hardware and software aptitude, clear communication across time zones, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support global customers. Flexible work hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 5+ years in product engineering or related roles.
• Fluent English with strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with automated test equipment or semiconductor handling equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Capture, document, and communicate product handling requirements to R&D.
• Develop and maintain specifications for DH platforms and product families.
• Support design, prototyping, validation, and DFMA activities; drive improvements.
• Lead failure analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and support for field service teams and customers.
