Job summary

Gibraltar is seeking a Product Engineer with a strong engineering background in Building Products or Construction to drive ongoing improvement for residential roofing products, including attic ventilation, trims, flashings, and roof drainage.

You’ll collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Supply Chain to devise innovative solutions, optimize lines, and grow revenue while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Construction Engineering or related field.
Up to 3 years in Building Products or Construction industry.
Experience with metal stamping and injection molding is a plus.
SolidWorks and PDM experience required; MS Office and Adobe PDF skills.
Knowledge of electrical components and motors a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead full-lifecycle product development from market research to manufacturing trials and launches.
Design, test, and modify products to meet functional requirements and comply with codes and standards.
Act as the technical liaison across Product Management, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure product success.
Maintain accurate product documents and ERP system updates.
