Job summary

Gibraltar Home Solutions, a division of Gibraltar, seeks a Product Engineer to support performance, growth, and lifecycle management of its product lines at the Jacksonville, FL facility. You will manage specifications, drive improvements, and partner across Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain.

This hands-on role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 2–5 years in product development, CAD proficiency (SolidWorks/AutoCAD), and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years in product development or design engineering.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage product specifications, performance data, and engineering records.
• Identify and implement product improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and docs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to resolve production challenges.
• Provide technical guidance and training for internal teams and partners.
• Support launches with cross-functional teams.
• Work with suppliers to ensure design intent and quality.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost performance.
