We are currently recruiting for a Product Engineer (RF Systems Engineer) for a leading public company providing innovative satellite communication solutions. Their ground equipment portfolio supports mobile backhaul, government, mobility, and enterprise customers across more than 160 countries.

Summary

The Product Engineer (RF Systems Engineer) will be responsible for product design, validation, documentation, evaluation, and deployment.

They will work closely with various departments including planning, procurement, manufacturing, engineering, design/drafting, assembly, testing, and production to develop, validate, and deploy reliable and cost-effective products. They will also modify, validate, and deploy design changes for existing products.

Additional responsibilities include analyzing equipment to solve complex problems, conducting experimental tests, selecting components based on specifications and reliability, reviewing vendor capabilities, and preparing presentations and reports for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Utilize professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively.
• Analyze situations or data requiring in-depth evaluation of various factors.
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and releasing products.
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Physics; Master’s preferred.
• Knowledge of microwave (5-26.5 GHz) and millimeter wave (26.5-55 GHz) TWT products, cascaded RF chain design, and related technologies.

Knowledge and Experience With

• Microwave components, vendors, and assemblies.
• Phase noise, AM/AM & AM/PM, phase matching.
• Power amplifiers, frequency converters, filters, mixers, waveguide components, and more.
• Mechanical packaging, control systems, power supplies, root cause analysis, MIL-STD testing, and documentation skills.
• Teamwork, disciplined design approach, communication skills, project management, multi-tasking, and a successful track record in product development.
