Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• Two years of experience in a private, public, healthcare, academic, government or military environment in one or more of the following areas: new product introduction, project engineering, product engineering, product development, and/or research laboratory supporting medical devices or chemistry-based product lines.
• Experience with regulated products (FDA), healthcare-related products, and/or other medical devices.
• Strong communication, organizational, project management and problem-solving skills.
• Skills include: Product and process understanding (e.g., coating & slitting), scale-up/manufacturing experience, and using appropriate tools (Minitab, statistics).

Responsibilities

• Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, quality & regulatory to lead management of change projects (CMPs) such as raw material and manufacturing qualifications to support and grow the business.
• Verify and document product specifications, test methods and control plans for new and existing products.
• Conduct product claims testing and document test results via claim substantiation process in PLM.
• Determine root cause of product quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Interact closely with key internal and external manufacturers and suppliers to deliver high-quality retail products.
• Provide technical input to Business team and technical reports on key activities.
