Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense (EBAD) seeks a Product Engineer to evaluate designs for manufacturability and lead new products into production. The role emphasizes analyzing user requirements, mechanical design, tool design, and manufacturing cell layout.

You will act as the technical lead on projects, coordinating with customers and EBAD teams, creating manufacturing instructions and PFMEA, and driving process improvements across the life cycle.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in an engineering discipline (mechanical/chemical/industrial) with manufacturing experience.
• Experience applying design for manufacturability concepts to multi-part assemblies.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills demonstrated on projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical aspects of projects and oversee product life cycle from proposals to production.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing docs: routings, process specs, tooling; define testing methods.
• Interface with customers and EBAD production to ensure design viability and documentation approval.
• Implement Lean and standard work practices; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
