Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company is seeking a Product Engineer in Kentucky to evaluate designs for manufacturability and lead new products into production. You will act as the technical lead on projects, coordinating with customer teams and shop floor personnel to deliver robust manufacturing solutions.

The role requires strong CAD and GD&T skills, along with experience in tooling design, process documentation, and lean manufacturing techniques.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in engineering required; preferred mechanical, chemical or industrial engineering.
• Experience with multi-part mechanisms and mechanical assemblies.
• Knowledge of military defense mechanisms and systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical aspects of projects from proposals to production.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation (routing, process specs, tooling).
• Interface with customers and production to ensure production viability of new designs.
