Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Product Engineer on the Manufacturing Operations team to own a product at the factory. You will gather manufacturing, test, and yield concerns, drive fixes in the design before each build, and sign off that the product is ready to move to the next stage.

This hands-on role requires delivering engineering changes with minimal disruption during mass production, qualifying new components and second-source manufacturers, root-causing yield and field failures, and traveling up

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with manufacturing at contract manufacturers or ODMs.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to partner factories.

Responsibilities

• Own a hardware product at the factory, gathering manufacturing, test, and yield concerns.
• Sign off that the product is ready to move to the next stage after fixes.
• Deliver engineering changes with minimal disruption during mass production.
• Qualify new components and second-source manufacturers.
• Root-cause yield and field failures and drive corrective actions with ODM/CM.
• Travel to partner factories up to 50%.
