• Create, maintain, and update SOPs, work instructions, QC checklists, and production documentation for Pilot and Mass Production.
• Analyze production test logs, test results, and manufacturing procedures to identify opportunities to improve quality, yield, efficiency, and cost.
• Support engineering changes, including ECNs and ECOs, while coordinating documentation, training, production schedules, and labor standards.
• Build, modify, and maintain test automation tools, scripts, and fixtures to support production testing and troubleshooting.
• Develop Proof of Concept product builds for new configurations, sales support, and customer-specific requirements.
• Train production teams and cross-functional departments on new processes, tools, SOPs, engineering changes, and POC learnings.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Fremont, CA. This role is ideal for an engineering professional who enjoys hands-on manufacturing support, production process improvement, test automation, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. The Product Engineer will support production readiness from Pilot through Mass Production, helping improve quality, yield, efficiency, and manufacturability. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Test, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Engineering teams in a fast-paced production environment where teamwork, training, and continuous improvement are valued. This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented engineer who wants to build technical depth, contribute to product quality, support new product configurations, and help production teams succeed through clear processes, effective training, and strong execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update SOPs, work instructions, QC checklists, and production documentation for Pilot and Mass Production.
• Analyze production test logs, test results, and manufacturing procedures to identify opportunities to improve quality, yield, efficiency, and cost.
• Support engineering changes, including ECNs and ECOs, while coordinating documentation, training, production schedules, and labor standards.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay rate: $36.00 to $37.00 per hour.
• Job type: Direct hire.
• Location: Fremont, CA.
