Qualifikationen

• Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field for entire duration of internship.
• Experience in Solidworks, AutoCAD, and Lean Sigma
• Proficient in Google Applications

Aufgaben

• Support and identify problems or opportunities within the Factory.
• Assist with manufacturing process layout concepts and improvements.
• Review labor quotes vs. actual times; implement process improvements.
• Review ECOs and evaluate labor impact.
• Learn manufacturing process controls and statistical applications.
• Assist with Manufacturing Readiness Reviews.
• Develop knowledge of Plexus DFM guidelines.
• Advise on material format choices to optimize processes.
• Determine facility requirements for new processes with safety focus.
• Assist in process validation per SOP 37; participate on customer teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
