Qualifications

• Student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering for the entire duration of the internship.
• Sophomore or junior status preferred; GPA 3.0+ is preferred.
• Experience with Creo Parametric and/or SolidWorks is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical components and system concepts that satisfy customer requirements.
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings under supervision of senior engineers.
• Assist in building and assembling prototypes including cutting, drilling, milling, lathe work, and assembly.
• Perform simple tests on materials or prototypes and record data accurately.
• Complete preliminary analysis on tolerances, thermal or structural aspects under guidance.
• Attend meetings, contribute ideas, and learn from experienced engineers.
