Job summary

Mitsubishi Power is seeking an Engineer I, Product to support Hot SCR projects. You will coordinate mechanical, electrical, and controls work across disciplines, interfacing with project teams and customers to meet contractual commitments.

The role requires reading technical drawings, supporting planning, and occasional travel to customer offices or sites. Growth opportunities and a collaborative, safety‑driven culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
Minimum one year of directly related technical experience.
Knowledge of exhaust systems and emissions control technology is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and safety documents.
Travel to customer sites and construction locations may be needed.

Responsibilities

Specify, select, and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and controls equipment for Hot SCR systems.
Support Project Managers in resolving technical issues and aligning requirements.
Assist with project planning, setup, and monitoring activities and documentation.
Translate contractual scope for discipline engineering teams and resolve interdisciplinary issues.
Monitor engineering schedules, budgets, estimates, and technical status through completion.
Track design changes and document schedule, cost, and contract impacts.
Coordinate with international affiliates, sourcing, QA, and vendors.
Review project documents for technical accuracy and contractual compliance.
