Qualifications

Job description

The SCR Site Delivery Manager is responsible for the successful execution and delivery of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) projects at customer sites throughout the United States. This position serves as the company's primary on-site representative and holds full responsibility for managing all phases of project delivery, including equipment receipt and acceptance, installation oversight, construction coordination, commissioning support, final acceptance, project documentation, and owner handover.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in SCR De-NOx systems, proven field leadership experience, and the ability to effectively manage stakeholders, contractors, inspectors, and site personnel while ensuring compliance with U.S. safety, quality, and construction standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, startup, and commissioning of SCR systems and related equipment.
• Assume full authority for end-to-end on-site delivery management of U.S.-based SCR projects.
• Oversee equipment receipt, inspection, acceptance, installation supervision, construction coordination, commissioning interface activities, completion acceptance, documentation turnover, and project closeout.
• Ensure all project activities are executed according to engineering specifications, contractual requirements, project schedules, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address issues impacting safety, quality, schedule, or cost performance.
• Lead final project handover activities and ensure successful owner acceptance.
• Serve as the primary interface between project owners, EPC/general contractors, local construction teams, third-party inspection agencies, and company headquarters.
• Conduct daily coordination meetings, progress reviews, and technical discussions.
• Provide routine progress reports and project status updates to all stakeholders.
• Align customer requirements with project execution plans and coordinate resolution of non-conformance reports (NCRs), punch-list items, and field quality issues.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with owners, contractors, inspectors, and project partners.
• Supervise installation, alignment, testing, and commissioning activities for SCR systems and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues related to equipment installation, construction execution, system integration, and operational readiness.
• Evaluate installation deviations, equipment mismatches, design conflicts, and technical failures.
• Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to resolve field issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support performance testing and commissioning activities to ensure successful system startup and acceptance.
• Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations, local construction codes, customer requirements, and company EHS standards.
• Lead site safety initiatives, risk assessments, toolbox talks, inspections, and compliance audits.
• Manage safety requirements associated with hot work, working at heights, rigging, lifting operations, and industrial construction activities.
• Monitor quality control processes and ensure compliance with project specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Identify and mitigate safety, operational, and regulatory risks throughout project execution.
• Ensure project delivery meets established quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Manage and direct on-site personnel, including company service engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and local construction staff.
• Develop work schedules, assign daily responsibilities, and monitor workforce productivity.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and leadership to site personnel.
• Coordinate emergency response activities and issue escalation procedures.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive English-language project documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates’ degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3 years of hands-on site management experience supporting U.S.-based industrial flue-gas treatment, emissions control, or SCR projects.
• Experience with emissions control systems, combustion systems, boilers, gas turbines, or power generation equipment.
• Understanding of SCR technology and NOx reduction processes.
• Knowledge of industrial instrumentation, controls, PLCs, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read P&IDs, electrical drawings, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical reporting tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineering, manufacturing, customers, and suppliers.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to customer sites, fabrication facilities, vendors, and company locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a focus on energy, operations, or technology management.
• Knowledge of emissions regulations, interconnection standards, and grid support requirements for distributed generation.
• Certification or formal training in project management, reliability engineering, or product management frameworks.
