Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Hot SCR Product Engineer to support the engineering and design teams in executing Hot SCR projects. This role acts as a liaison across disciplines and integrates engineering, scheduling, and purchasing activities in line with contract obligations.

The position covers mechanical, electrical, and controls interfaces, with familiarity in Balance of Plant design. Collaboration with Project Engineers and international teams is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum one year of directly related technical experience.
• Familiarity with exhaust systems, emissions control technology, and related systems.
• Ability to travel to customer offices and construction sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Specify, select, and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and controls equipment for Hot SCR systems.
• Support managers in resolving technical issues and align design requirements.
• Assist with project planning, kickoffs, master document lists, and interdisciplinary workflows.
• Translate contractual scope for discipline teams and resolve interdisciplinary issues.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, estimates, deliverables, and status through completion.
• Track design changes and document schedule and cost impacts.
• Coordinate with international affiliates to support project execution.
• Review documents for technical accuracy and contractual compliance.
• Support supplier evaluations, vendor selection, and capacity assessments for Mitsubishi-sourced equipment.
