Job summary

Klein Tools is seeking a Product Engineer to design, develop, and improve tools and related products. You will work with managers and engineers to drive on-time delivery, improvements, and cost-effective solutions. The role requires problem solving, supplier coordination, and clear communication with stakeholders.

You will use 3D CAD and FEM tools, prepare presentations, and analyze project metrics with Excel. Join a team focused on quality, ownership, and customer obsession.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communication; ability to present technical analysis and financial justifications.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under time constraints; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Determine and apply appropriate theoretical principles and practical design approaches within program requirements.
• Collaborate with manager and more experienced engineers to decide engineering methods.
• Represent the organization in supplier meetings to resolve questions and plan work.
• Manage multiple low to medium difficulty projects with guidance.
• Accurately estimate and build project timelines within a phase gate product development framework.
