Job summary

Klein Tools seeks a Lead Product Engineer to lead design, development, and improvements across key tool products. This senior role requires strong analytical, CAD/FEA expertise, and proven project leadership to deliver on-time results.

You will collaborate with product management, engineers, and vendors, mentoring peers and communicating complex ideas clearly. The position emphasizes ownership, innovation, and cross-functional teamwork in our Texas operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of direct work experience.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills; solid understanding of NPD/ NPI.
• Experience leading complex projects with multiple interactions and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to justify technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and improvement of Klein Tools products.
• Independently solve engineering problems and make design decisions.
• Coordinate multiple medium to high priority projects and delegate when needed.
• Represent the organization in vendor meetings to plan and coordinate work.
• Develop high‑level presentations to communicate concepts to stakeholders.
