Qualifications

• BS/MS Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Materials Science degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with solid modeling tools (Pro/E), FEA tools a plus.
• Ability to communicate with technical & non-technical people.
• Ability to work in dynamic team environment.
• Desire to create and design new products and processes.
• Knowledge of copper alloys and high-performance engineering thermoplastics would be a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical connectors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product quality and reliability; perform failure analysis on defects.
• Integrate new technologies and cost initiatives into product designs.
• Manage product documentation and specifications across design and manufacturing.
• Serve as customer focal point for technical product information and field guidance.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing for prototypes and beta testing.
• Coordinate transition of products from NPI to volume manufacturing.
