Job summary

Hörmann North America is seeking a Product Engineer to support development, improvement, and implementation of garage door products and components. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, and Service to deliver cost-competitive solutions and improved manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge or experience with garage doors and components.
• Experience in product development or manufacturing engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support new product and component development from concept through production.
• Improve existing products to enhance quality, cost, performance, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sales, Quality and Service to resolve product/process issues.
