Job summary

JMJ Phillip Group is seeking a detail-oriented Product Engineer to support product development, improve existing designs, and ensure products meet performance, quality, and manufacturing requirements.

The ideal candidates will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other teams to develop practical solutions, resolve technical issues, and support products throughout their lifecycle. Two openings are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Experience in product engineering or manufacturing engineering.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with testing, quality control, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with engineering software and standard business applications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, testing, and improvement of new and existing products.
• Review product specifications, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Evaluate functionality, performance, reliability, and manufacturability of products.
• Recommend design modifications to improve quality, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
• Conduct or coordinate product testing, validation, and performance evaluations.
• Analyze test results and investigate defects or issues.
• Collaborate with quality teams to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Ensure products meet specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve production processes and product manufacturability.
• Provide technical support for production issues and product changes.
• Assist with prototype development, production trials, and product launches.
• Maintain accurate engineering records, test reports, and product documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and other stakeholders.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant teams.
• Support continuous improvement and contribute to product lifecycle management.
