Job summary

MVE Biological Solutions, a leading global manufacturer of cryogenic systems, seeks a Product Engineer to lead projects across the full lifecycle—from design and development to release and sustaining activities. This hands-on role requires time in the office, lab and on the manufacturing floor.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, at least 6 years of full‑time experience, and proficiency with SOLIDWORKS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years of full-time engineering work experience
• Proficiency with SOLIDWORKS CAD software for mechanical design
• Demonstrated expertise creating and maintaining manufacturing-ready 2D engineering drawings with tolerancing and inspection notes
• Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T principles and their practical application
• Experience identifying CTQ/CTF and incorporating inspection requirements into engineering documentation
• Proficiency performing tolerance stack-up analyses and developing robust designs
• Experience leading design reviews and engineering change management
• Experience applying reliability engineering methods such as DFMEA, DOE
• Experience applying FEA tools
• Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, die casting, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and sustaining engineering activities for new and existing products
• Develop and guide prototype development and experimental design
• Author and refine test and validation protocols
• Lead design reviews and ensure regulatory compliance and documentation
• Collaborate with operations, quality, sourcing and service teams
