Zusammenfassung

FMI is seeking an experienced Product Engineer - Composites to join the Advanced Materials group in Maine. You will support development, prototyping, and processing of carbon and ceramic composites, coordinating with engineers, machinists, and quality teams to advance TRL and MRL.

You will lead process development, tooling innovations, and test plans from research to production support, applying rigorous engineering fundamentals.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with mechanical emphasis.
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in composites or materials.
• Experience with fabrication of composite materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, drawings, and travelers.

Aufgaben

• Develop manufacturing methods for high temperature thermal protection material systems.
• Assist and collaborate with engineers to solve processing issues and create tooling solutions.
• Develop, implement, and sustain policies and procedures for engineering work.
• Document activity for component traceability and adhere to GMP-like practices.
• Lead design review documentation and write technical reports.
