Job summary

FMI is seeking a Product Engineer - Composites to join the Advanced Materials group. You will develop, prototype, and process novel carbon and ceramic composites, coordinating with materials, process, and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities include tooling innovation, design reviews, and test plan execution to advance TRL and MRL of material systems. You will work closely with engineers, machinists, and project managers to deliver robust components, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required or implied.
• Experience with mechanical design and problem solving in material systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing methods for high temperature material systems.
• Support and lead development, prototyping, and processing of composites.
• Write technical reports and participate in design reviews.
• Ensure safety and quality in all activities.
