Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a motivated Product Engineer in Manchester, TN to support product development, tooling design, and manufacturing improvements. You will interpret engineering drawings, manage CAD models, and coordinate prototype builds with cross‑functional teams.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical aptitude, problem‑solving skills, and experience with CATIA/AutoCAD. Automotive experience is a plus; relocation not specified. Full‑time, onsite, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent; associate degree acceptable with related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, analytical skills, and problem‑solving ability.
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and drafting standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine products, tooling, and components per specs.
• Maintain CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and technical docs.
• Coordinate prototype builds, testing, and validation activities.
• Support manufacturing trials, launches, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Assist with tooling optimization and design reviews to improve efficiency.
• Keep engineering records up to date and ensure specs meet requirements.
