Job summary

Mueller Water Products, a leading manufacturer of flow control devices for water and gas, seeks a Product Engineer in Kimball, TN. You will configure components for butterfly, ball, knife gate valves and water control systems, delivering SolidWorks/AutoCAD drawings and BOMs to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include supporting manufacturing, driving cost reductions, maintaining ISO-related manuals, and collaborating with internal teams and external agencies. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a similar technical field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience acceptable in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2D/3D CAD drawings (SolidWorks/Creo/AutoCAD) per requirements.
• Generate BOMs and Process Sheets for assigned product lines.
• Support manufacturing with engineering input and process improvements.
• Coordinate with approval agencies (UL/ULC/FM/NSF/ISO) for new/modified products.
• Engage with customers and internal teams to address design, cost, and manufacturing concerns.
